KITCHEN REMODEL: Transition to Transitional

The homeowners previously had a dull, outdated, and underused kitchen that had the potential to maximize storage and seating as well as an overcrowded laundry room that needed a desperate makeover. This kitchen had bar height counters on the island and sink area that just didn't allow people to gather in one space. After the renovation, we were able to take out the bar height counters which opened up the kitchen and allowed the homeowners to have extra seating if need be. We were also able to use some space in the kitchen for a coffee bar area where the homeowners can come first thing in the morning and make their coffee.

In the laundry room area, we took out an oversized utility sink and wire shelving and replaced with cabinets to store and hide supplies needed for cleaning. This also helped with making the laundry room more spacious.

Finally, the homeowners were having trouble with their front door leaking water during heavy rains as the frame was rotted out and in need of replacing. After suggesting that they get a durable iron door, we were able to give them something that not only solved their water leaking issues, but also an update to the front of their home.
